So I am taking a family vacation to Italy this summer, and my flight leaves from Boston (my family lives in RI), from Boston to Italy is already booked, I just now have to get myself from Vegas to RI. I normally fly SWA into PVD but they want something like $600 round trip right now for their cheapest flight, and its still SWA...
I looked at Jet Blue, and I can fly round trip for just over $400, but they fly into BOS, not PVD, so I would have to find a way to get back to RI (nbd).
Just wondering if anyone has experience with Jet Blue, is it worth me going a bit out of my way to save the $200 or is the Jet Blue experience all just hype?

if you are going from Boston to Providence or close to there you can take the T commuter for a couple bucks and out to T.F. Green if you need to with a transfer I believe. If you are going further into RI you can take Amtrak easy enough.

Every time I have flown Jet Blue, it's been great. Great and cheap. Same with my family, including travel with dogs and special needs children. No issues.

I prefer Jet Blue over the rest. Having satellite TV and a GPS map of your plane's current position with groundspeed is fantastic.

Works great. Every passenger gets their own screen.
The complimentary bag of blue chips is a nice touch as well.

It costs me 759 bucks to fly from Sudbury, Ont to Toronto, Ont.
A Distance of about 380 Km or 240 Miles and thats ONE WAY.
Cost per mile $3.16
Your paying around $400 to fly 2500 Miles
Or $0.16 per mile.

I used to fly Jet Blue direct between Austin and NYC all the time a couple years back. I always enjoyed it a lot. They're one of the better airlines out there.

Jet blue does fly into Pvd. They started last year. Only destinations I think are in Florida. You may be able to get here with a layover.

Yea only through FL, I looked, they don't have anything that would work for me to loop around and get into PVD.

Too bad. Tf Green is so much more convenient than Boston. Little airports are awesome. Easy in and out.
